The LCC volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss, by scores of 25-8, 25-20 and 25-18, on Thursday, Sept. 29 at Southwestern Michigan College.
The loss put the Stars’ overall record at 8-10, and at 3-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference.
Freshman Ella Didion led LCC with seven kills. Freshman Alex Widner delivered 21 assists for the Stars. Sophomore teammate Katelyn Whiteman had seven digs.
The Stars are scheduled to play on Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Raider Challenge in Grand Rapids. The Stars are scheduled to face McHenry County College, Terra State Community College and Muskegon Community College during the tournament.
