LCC Student Affairs will host student feedback forums on the downtown and west campus.
Light refreshments will be served at both forums.
Forum one will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at the downtown campus, in the Michigan Room, number 1128. Students are asked to RSVP, and can do so here.
The second forum will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday Nov. 15 in the west campus auditorium, number S147. Students can RSVP here.
These forums are open to any LCC student from any campus. This gives the students the opportunity to have their voices heard, and for students to feel valueed, according to Dean of Student Affairs Ronda Miller, organizer of the forums.
Students who attend are welcome to voice their concerns, or even what they enjoy about LCC.
“Good, bad or indifferent, as the dean of students, I really want to know about experiences students are having,” Miller said. “I want to look at the whole student experience and make sure that we are meeting the needs of our students.”
This is the first time LCC has held these forums since the pandemic. During the pandemic Student Affairs didn’t have forums, but instead had a student concerns email.
“I strongly encourage students to participate, I love to meet students,” Miller said. “This is really just to find out how we are doing.”
