No matter what you are looking to do in the future, LCC is there to help you get there. J Green, 27, hopes his time at LCC will help with a military career.
Green is currently attending LCC to gain a degree in English. When asked why English, he said “so that I can work for the force as an English translator.”
Green said he has enjoyed the time he has spent on LCC’s main campus.
“It’s a cool learning environment,” Green said. “I’ve only been here two (or) three years; I commute from Ann Arbor sometimes.”
When Green isn’t focusing on his classes, he can be found in the gym doing one of his favorite pastimes.
“I love lifting weights,” he said. “It’s about all I can do, as a guy my size and strength.”
Green said his favorite colors are blue and black. He enjoys pairing cheese pizza and Crazy Bread with orange Faygo. He enjoys listening to hip-hop music, blues and jazz.
One said there are a few things he will always believe in:
“Peace, liberty and prosperity for everybody,” he said.
