No matter what you are looking for, there is a chance you may be able to find it at Lansing Community College.
Student Zoe Ozar, 20, has been able to grow her interests at LCC. Ozar is currently doing her general studies at LCC, but is interested in learning more in the fields of psychology and counseling.
“I’m interested in helping people, and people say I’m a good listener and I feel like it would be something that I’m good at,” Ozar said.
Ozar said she has been enjoying her time at LCC, and its main campus.
“I like it at LCC,” she said. “It’s smaller than a normal university.”
When not enjoying campus, Ozar enjoys listening to Christian music. Her favorite color is purple, and she likes tigers and their nature.
Ozar’s mom, Tammy Ozar, called her daughter “pretty amazing.”
“Zoe is an overcomer because she has dealt with a disability and worked so hard to accomplish what she has so far,” Tammy Ozar said. “She also is passionate about her faith and lives to serve God.”
One of Tammy’s favorite things about her daughter, she said, are her hugs.
Ozar has a very strong connection to her faith, and believes in the power of God.
“I will always believe in God,” Ozar said. “I’m a Christian, so I believe in God and that he saved me.”
