The Stars men’s basketball team won big on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at home vs. Northwood JV, 102-73. The win was LCC’s fifth in a row, and improved its record to 6-4 overall.

Four Stars scored in double digits vs. Northwood. Connor Bush and Zane Kemp tied for team-high with 16 points. Cole Krauss added 14 points. Dawson Lott had a team-high eight rebounds.

The win was lopsided, as LCC dominated in all facets by out-rebounding Northwood and shooting 49 percent from the field, a direct carryover from the Stars’ previous game.

On Monday, Dec. 12, LCC beat previously undefeated and 16th-ranked Mott Community College, 81-77.

LCC shot over 47 percent from the field and a whopping 62 percent from the three-point line against Mott. The hot shooting was led by Tyshan Kelly, who put up 29 points, including four-for-five in three-point attempts.

The Stars will look to continue to fire on all cylinders for a sixth straight win on Thursday, Dec. 15 at home vs. St. Clair County Community College.

LCC’s home basketball games are being played at Great Lakes Christian in Lansing. The gym is located at 6211 W. Willow Hwy. Games will be played there until LCC’s home campus gym is open once again.
