LCC’s Technical Careers Division program is hosting an informational event, “Men of Color in Trades, Technologies and Public Service” that will have networking possibilities for those in attendance.
Anyone from middle school and high school, to prospective adult students, are invited to attend this free event at LCC’s West Campus on Friday, Nov. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. LCC’s West Campus is located at 5708 Cornerstone Drive in Lansing.

Lovell, president and CEO of Troubleshooters Technical Support.”
The dean and associate dean of the Technical Careers Division, Cathy Wilhm and Shon’ta Dwyer respectively, will also be sharing information regarding the program and opportunities available.
There will also be a panel discussion that includes faculty, students and business people that will be facilitated by Nathan Colon, the director of the Cesar Chavez Learning Center.
Other people in attendance and able to be networked with will be success coaches, academic advisers, financial aid personnel, Adult Resource Center staff and several local employers.
The featured programs in this event are the following: Building Construction/Construction Management; HVAC, Robotics, Drones, Police Academy and Electrical Technology.
