Kelly's Korner: A 'multipotentialite'

Greetings to all! I am Juanita Kelly-Hill, one of the newest members of The Lookout and also fairly new to Lansing Community College.
I was born and raised in Flint but relocated to East Lansing in 2018 for college. I attended Michigan State University for about a year, prior to my decision to transfer to a community college until I figured out exactly what I wanted my career to be.
Fun fact: believe it when they say you will change your major about five times when you get to college.
I’ve been a student of LCC since January 2022, when I decided to pursue a degree in creative writing. My end educational goal is to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master’s degree in screenwriting.
At last, I have found a major that I will enjoy doing, instead of trying to pursue a career for money.
Lately, I’ve been pondering on creating a travel blog since one of my favorite things to do is travel. Here, I’ll share the dos and don'ts of different countries, how to get the most bang for your buck, and how to locate hidden gems and find deals amongst travel options, stays and excursions.
My favorite pastimes are binge watching anime or adult animation, reading, and working on perfecting my writing. My top anime show is “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure,” which I recommend everyone to watch!
I also enjoy playing a game of soccer and spending time with my husband and our three dogs (yes, I love hearing 12 little paws scurrying toward me).
I like to refer to myself as a “multipotentialite.” So recently, I’ve become more and more interested in baking unique flavored cookies that I love to give out to the children in my neighborhood.
Hopefully, I can build the clientele to sell my cookies locally!
