On Wednesday, March 20, LCC will hold its annual Job and Internship Fair in the Gannon Building. It is a free event that runs from 2 to 5 p.m.
Students, alumni and community members are welcome to join in and explore various career opportunities.
“The Job and Internship Fair will bring over 70 employers, representing a variety of industries to LCC’s Downtown Campus,” said Becca Sowa from LCC Career and Employment Services.
“Employers will be recruiting for internships, full-time and part-time positions.”
Individuals will have a chance to check out the different careers they can be a part of, and to network with the employers. There are many flexible positions available to fit anyone’s schedule.
“This is a great opportunity for students to explore career options in the Lansing region, network with industry representatives, and learn more about the application and hiring process at each organization,” Sowa said.
Participating employers are not just looking to employ, they will be there to answer questions regarding how to apply, what the company’s mission is, and explain steps through the hiring process. With supporting staff and resources, individuals can rest assured there will be someone to answer any questions.
Job seekers can register here. Information on how to prepare for the event can be found on that same page.
The event will be held in the Gannon Building, where there will also be the 2024 Transfer
Fair happening at the same time. Individuals can choose to attend one or the other,
or both.
There will be free parking in the Gannon ramp at 600 N. Grand Ave. Check the CATA bus routes here.
