Local photographers will be gathering at LCC on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to give LCC students and their families a great photographic experience.
The annual Help-Portrait event will be held in the Gannon Commons area, on the first floor of the Gannon Building. All are welcome.
“They can expect to receive professional quality family photos free of charge,” said Ike Lea, professor of the Photographic Imaging Program.
Participants will receive hard copies of their photos, including prints, and a USB drive containing all of the photos.
“It is a wonderful event that allows photographers to give back to their community,” Lea said. “We have the opportunity to create lasting memories and precious keepsakes.”
Help-Portrait creates an inclusive environment. Everyone is welcome: individuals, couples, blended families, traditional families and the LGBTQ+ community. Anyone can come and participate, and service animals are welcome.
“We sometimes don't realize how precious these images will be until you see the smiles on their faces and the excitement when they see their images,” Lea said.
The event will also include family-friendly holiday movies and activities. To register for portraits, or more information, click here.
