LCC is hosting another Finals Frenzy from Dec. 5 through 12, this time with a few extra holiday festivities thrown in the mix.

LCC’s main and west campus have a bunch of different activities daily for students to partake in, ranging from free hot cocoa, popcorn and school supplies, to free chair massages. Also, the LCC Library is hosting activities every day for students to be able to study, keep their minds engaged, or just take a break from it all.

Abby Tebeau, the communications specialist for the library, said the library will be offering free supplies to students every day of finals week in order to help the students get through exams.

“We have school supplies, a relaxing online activity on the library’s website, snacks (and) earplugs to help studying,” Tebeau said. “Of course the library always provides a quiet study space for students. We have ‘Creative Stations,’ with coloring supplies for stress relief, finger painting, and other things to take students’ minds off of finals.”

Julie Eiler, a student at LCC, said she loves that the LCC Library is offering free earplugs, among other things, and made sure to grab some for herself.

“I get distracted easily from noise and these are so useful for me to be able to study wherever,” Eiler said. “I always love ‘Finals Frenzy’ for all of the fun, free stuff. It’s definitely a de-stressor.”
