All Americans are in grave danger

The Lookout Staff

From The Lookout Staff

This year’s presidential election will decide if United States citizens will remain part of a free, democratic society or become authoritarian regime members.

The Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign has promised national protection of reproductive freedoms, and has promised to embrace the middle class to protect the voting rights of every American.

There is no secret agenda within the Harris-Walz campaign. The Lookout knows that, because unlike Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, both Harris AND Walz have impressive resumes that serve as evidence of their decades of dedicated service to an assortment of American sectors.

Harris and Walz have records that speak for themselves … wait a minute … so does Donald Trump. What The Lookout meant to say is that Harris and Walz have a reputation of defending the people, whereas the opposing campaign has a reputation of weaponizing them.

Trump has not only escaped the shame of criminality, but he is also the first felon in American history to make the ticket. Trump’s followers have made him immune to personal shame, so, The Lookout feels that the only thing left to expose is his policy.

Luckily, there is a publicized, 922-page document, known as Project 2025, that completely exposes a horrifyingly detailed plan to overthrow American democracy.

This proposal was drafted by over 100 different conservative organizations, including, but not limited to, the Heritage Foundation, the NRA, the Texas Public Policy Foundation and Liberty College.

There is no intellectual use of language anywhere within this abomination of legalese, just pointed language to inspire an illusion of an outward world of danger and an inward world with only ONE safe-haven, coincidentally, within this administration’s agenda.

Project 2025 provides a comprehensive plan on how to follow through on specific administrative goals like:

  • Strengthening the executive branch to outweigh both the legislative and judicial branches;
  • Creating a pro-life task force;
  • Eliminating the head start program;
  • Dismantling all labor unions and abolishing overtime pay and a minimum wage;
  • Dismantling the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration responsible for tracking and predicting changes in climate, weather, oceans and coast;
  • Defunding and dismantling the DOJ and FBI;
  • Eliminating the Department of Education and Commerce.

For more information, click here for an informational Last Week Tonight episode, during which writer and host John Oliver not only does a deep dive into Project 2025, but also all of the possible dangers of Trump’s second term.

After the outrage of this agenda swept the nation, as early as July 11, The Lookout began to notice Trump was publicly distancing himself from his party’s proposal, insisting instead he supported Agenda 47.

Agenda 47 is a 16-page document that promises instead to:

  • Carry out the largest deportation operation in American history;
  • Terminate the Green New Deal and return America to its former status as the largest producer of oil and natural gas in the world;
  • Deregulate climate regulations;
  • Create an alternative for a college education;
  • Promote a culture that exclusively “values the sanctity of marriage, the blessings of childhood, the foundational role of families”;
  • Exclusively support Israel;
  • Restore voter suppression through “highly sophisticated paper ballots;”
  • Create a new federal task force to "fight" anti-Christian bias.

It seems that Agenda 47 is intentionally lacking and purposefully kept ambiguous solely to avoid turning off voters with such radical ideologies, but it’s too late. We know what Trump, and ultimately the fanatical right, wants. It’s complete and total power with no interference from officials, laws or the people’s will.

The Lookout cannot express how deeply we hope America will decide its future this November based on, not only, the TRUTH of the past, but the starkening reality of a terrifying and all too possible future.
