Looking for an inclusive, supportive group that furthers your relationship with God?

If so, Cru is a Christian student club at LCC that gives students the opportunity to search for God through activities, Bible studies, life groups and individual mentoring.

Cru is an international ministry with the goal to spread the word of Jesus Christ to high school and college students. LCC is just one campus in a world of others.

The group meets every Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. Students can contact Adviser Eric Bennett at bennete@lcc.edu for more any information or with questions.

Additional information is available at the website cru@lcc.com, or on Instagram under the same name.

Michigan State University and LCC hold a joint weekly event, “Real Life,” which is a large student gathering for worship and to hear great speakers. “Real Life” is held Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Erickson Hall Kiva on MSU’s campus. All are welcome.

Cru has around a dozen student members at the moment, all on different roads to God. There are no requirements when it comes to joining,

Bennett, the adviser for Cru, said his position with the club is an “opportunity for me to reach people with Christ.

“We’re all growing together, we like to have conversations about where we’re all at,” Bennett said.

He said his goal is help carry the message from The Great Commission in the Book of Matthew, spreading the word of God.
