LCC’s student clubs gathered for a Club Recruitment and Fundraising Fair in the Gannon Building highway on Halloween, Tuesday, Oct. 31.

The event was filled with decorated tables, costumed members, and an abundance of sweet treats for sale. It was a great opportunity for students to explore the variety of clubs available on campus and socialize, all while enjoying the Halloween atmosphere.

Katie Goble from the American Marketing Association Club spoke about the event.

“My favorite part is getting to be around all the clubs, coming together and supporting each other,” Goble said.

The turnout was good, with tables lining each wall and a flood of students circulating through.

Tyler Winston and Izzy Allen of the Psychology Club dressed up in fun costumes, selling a variety of delicious treats and fun mini-games.

Not only was this event a way to raise fund for the clubs, but also a way to advertise and recruit new members.

The fair provided an opportunity for the debut of the new Art Club, whose first meeting will be in GB 1235C on Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon.

“All skill levels are welcome to join the Art Club,” President Victoria Ericsk said. “It’s a place to develop your style and join our community of artists.”

Not only that, but some of the more unique clubs were present at the fair, such as the Vinyl Record Club.

Tyler Reck and Simon Medina, members of the Vinyl Record Club were present and in costume with a turntable, spinning records. The music, combined with the lights and Halloween-themed records, made the Vinyl Records table a popular attraction.

Overall, the RSO Fair was a bustling event that allowed students to explore the different clubs on campus and enjoy the spooky season.
