LCC has new online clothing store

LCC has finally opened up an easily accessible online store for LCC students, faculty and community members to stock up on their LCC apparel.

The store, found at ShopLCCStars.com , has a 25 percent discount on T-shirts from now until the end of June to celebrate its opening.

The new store offers everything from sweatshirts, T-shirts and hats to drinkware and backpacks. LCC has partnered with well-known brands such as Carhartt, Under Armour and Columbia to offer high quality.

Samantha Gallimore, who served as the purchasing strategic partner to the Online Store Team, played a major role in this online store coming to life.

“I served … to execute a request for proposal to the vendor community,” Gallimore said. “I facilitated the evaluations and demonstrations of submitted proposals, helped craft the agreement with the awarded vendor, and led the team through implementation, webpage build and launch.”

Gallimore said the website is designed with two outlets: retail and wholesale. The retail outlet is for students, faculty, alumni and community members. The wholesale outlet is to support the bulk ordering of apparel and promotional items for LCC.

The site does accept all major credit cards and PayPal, and also has gift certificates available. The store offers multiple delivery options, a FAQ page, customer service availability and easy returns.

Corinna Peterson, a current student at LCC, said she is excited to purchase apparel for upcoming Spirit Days every first Wednesday of the month.

“I’ve been wanting a nice sweatshirt for a while now but I couldn’t find an LCC apparel store anywhere,” Peterson said. “It’s going to be such a big upgrade to finally have our own store that we can buy from, and have a bunch of different LCC apparel to choose from.”
