Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love everything about it: the dressing up, spooky movies and music, candy and Halloween parties.
This year’s Halloween weekend was amazing. I went to Pride Night at Necto in Ann Arbor with my brother and good friend Julie. We stayed out until 3 a.m. dancing and having fun. I was dressed up as Kim Possible, my favorite cartoon character when I was younger.
The next day I dressed up with my boyfriend, Kobe, as Jessica and Roger Rabbit. Although we initially were going to go clubbing, we couldn’t find a good place to go (and one that didn’t have a $50 cover). We ended up just going to a friend’s house, and had a fun night hanging out with our friends, drinking and laughing.

On Sunday, Kobe and I relaxed together and watched spooky Halloween movies and shows. It was like a little date-night in!
Today, on the actual Halloween, I will be the only one home to pass out candy. I’m actually really excited about it. I’m planning on dressing my dogs up and wearing my Halloween leggings.
I am going to bake some pumpkin oatmeal muffins and pass out candy to little kids. I’ll probably have “The Nightmare Before Christmas” playing in the background, since it is one of the absolute best Halloween movies there is.
I’m looking forward to my casual Halloween after a fun-packed weekend!
