Athlete Spotlight: Tyshan Kelley

The Lookout Staff Writer Arianne Olayinka recently interviewed LCC men’s basketball player Tyshan Kelley. The freshman, who graduated from Jackson High School, is majoring in psychology at LCC.

When did you start playing basketball?
“Fourth grade.”

Why did you choose to play basketball?
“It runs in the family.”

What position do you play?
“Shooting guard.”

Which strengths do you have that make you a great athlete?
“(I am) strong and quick.”

What are your goals for the remainder of the season?
“Winning the conference and the championship.”
