LCC Orientation Information

Welcome to Lansing Community College

At Orientation, you will tour campus, register for classes, learn about campus resources, LCC technology, financial aid, academic advising and much more!

Who should attend orientation?

Orientation is designed for new students and students returning after 5 or more years. In order to deliver the best possible program to our students, orientation sessions are designed for student attendance only. This allows staff to address the unique topics and questions that students typically have as they adjust to college life.

Parents and Guests

Individuals looking to support the academic needs of students are welcome to join us on select dates only. Guests will participate in a separate session designed to give them the tools to help empower them to support the academic needs of their student.

Students who require and will be bringing a personal attendant with them must complete a request form here.

Prior to attending orientation, students must:

  • Students must complete your placement testing prior to attending orientation. Click here for more information about assessment testing.
  • Claim your account
