The following links provide information about LCC policies and sanctions related to copyright infringement and unauthorized peer-to-peer file sharing, including disciplinary action taken against students who engage in illegal downloading or unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials using LCC information technology systems. The information also includes a notice that informs students that unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material may subject the students to civil and criminal liabilities. A summary of the penalties for violation of federal copyright laws is also provided.

In compliance with the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA), Lansing Community College Athletic Department publishes information on men’s and women’s athletic programs. The EADA report includes the number of participants by gender for each team, operating and recruiting expenses, coaches’ salaries, revenues and athletically related student aid. A copy of the report is also available online on the U.S. Department of Education Office of Post secondary Education Equity in Athletics Disclosure website. A paper copy of the report will be provided upon request by contacting the Athletic Department at 517-483-1622.

• Athletic Program Participation and Financial Data

The Annual Security Report (ASR) is published annually on or before Oct. 1st in accordance with the requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 (Clery Act). The report is required by federal law to certify our good-faith effort, to ensure you are aware of your surroundings and have the information you need to keep yourself safe. The Annual Security Report contains statistics from the previous three years concerning crimes that occurred on campus, on non-campus buildings, on properties owned or controlled by the College, and on public property. The report also includes College policy statements concerning campus security, crime prevention, reporting of crimes; timely warnings; emergency response and evacuation; alcohol use, drug use, and sexual offenses.

*On March 6, 2024, the 2023 Annual Security Report was revised to reflect a correction to the 2022 crime statistics discovered during an audit. This crime statistic – a public property aggravated assault on Downtown Campus – has been added to the 2022 crime statistics. Additionally, the revised Annual Security Report reflects 2023-2024 updates to Student Code of Conduct procedures.

Lansing Community College will maintain a Drug Free Workplace and an educational environment free from the unlawful manufacturing, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of alcohol or illegal drugs. The College has a DAAPP that is distributed annually and on an ongoing basis to all employees and students via email. The DAAPP contains descriptions of the health risks of drug and alcohol abuse; drug and alcohol counseling, treatment and rehabilitation programs; and the legal sanctions for violations of College policies, local, state or federal laws relating to illicit drugs and alcohol. A biennial review of the DAAPP is also conducted. A paper copy of these resources can be obtained from the LCC Police Department at 411 N. There is no college-wide vaccination requirement for students. The Human and Heath Service programs may have vaccination requirements. Students in those programs should contact their Program Director for specific vaccination requirements.
