EDF Mission Statement
The Employee Development
Fund was created for employees, by employees, to provide
opportunities, promote fellowship and fun, and enhance
our everyday work life.
|
The Employee Development Fund
(EDF) was established to bring together employees who care about their
institution and choose to make an investment in its future. Funds
generated through the EDF are used for projects that promote the
professional development of employees and the goals of Lansing Community
College. Activities are coordinated through a committee of LCC employees
and funded through payroll deduction and individual contributions. We
gratefully acknowledge the commitment of our employees to serving the
educational needs of the community.

ESF was formed to assist LCC employees with
emergency needs funding of up to $500.00 and to support efforts to quit
smoking. This fund exists separately from EDF with many employees opting
to contribute to this in addition to their support of EDF. A
subcommittee of EDF reviews all requests to ESF and reports to members
of the EDF committee on funding authorizations.
