Gaming Room

The Library has a Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and a Nintendo WiiU available for patrons to use during study breaks. Also, the Library has a second gaming room with an Oculus Rift virtual reality system. Take an hour long study break and recharge your mind!

How do I play?

  • Bring your StarCard or Driver's License to the Multimedia Desk.
  • Choose what game you would like to play from the lists to the right.
  • Ask to check out the gaming room and a game.

How long can I play?

  • The gaming rooms can be checked out for one hour at a time.
  • The gaming rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • After your hour is up, you may be asked to leave so others can play.

Can I save my game?

  • You may save your game, but someone else may alter or delete it.
  • Any content downloaded to the console may be deleted without notice.

What else should I know?

  • There is absolutely no food or drink allowed in the gaming rooms.
  • A maximum of four players are allowed in the gaming room.
  • One player is allowed in the Oculus Rift room.
  • One volume warning will be given and then you will be asked to leave.
  • Currently you can only play the games the library owns.
