Writing & Illustrating Graphic Novels
9am - noon | grades 6th - 9th
This hands-on course will have you writing, designing and illustrating your own graphic novel! By the end of the session, you will have created your own graphic novel that you will proudly show to relatives and friends. It's just a matter of creating a story plot, imagining your characters and then putting the story into picture form. In this class you will learn to develop your story using sticky notes, create exciting characters, write realistic dialog and then use balloons to show that dialog, and finally, you will learn to draw your characters, whether as an accomplished artist or merely someone who draws stick figures (think "Diary of a Wimpy Kid").
This class meets:
February 16th - March 9th, 2019 at LCC East Campus
