9am - noon | grades 6th - 9th
This class is especially for the budding engineers. Serious minded students will get an opportunity to build an advanced robot while being exposed to mechanics, electronics, computer programming and engineering. The course culminates in a mini-competition between teams.
This course blends all aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with hands-on activities. Students will follow instructions to build a core, working robot, and then be encouraged to create and improvise.
While there are not prerequisites for this course, students will do best if they have taken other robotics classes, such as Battling Robots Jr. and/or Battling Robots Sr. first.
This class meets:
February 16th - March 9th, 2019 at LCC East Campus
