This is a self-paced online course, which provides a vast array of pertinent information and resources to those working in healthcare and communities to provide resources for helping victims of human trafficking. Unfortunately, this form of modern day slavery is becoming increasingly prevalent in our country and also globally. The aim of this module is to educate nurses and other healthcare providers to assist in the identification and care of victims of human trafficking. The content of this module complies with the standards of human trafficking required by the Michigan Board of Nursing (MBON), and provides 1.12 CNE Continuing Education Contact Hours, upon successful completion of this training.
