International Admissions

How to Apply

International students are welcome to study in most LCC programs. The programs with the highest enrollment of international students are business, tourism, engineering, and liberal arts. The majority of LCC international students (74 percent) are enrolled in university transfer programs.

To learn more about the Lansing Community College campus and its students, go to Facts at a Glance.

If you prefer to print this information the International Student (F-1/M-1 visa) Admission Packet is available here as a downloadable PDF file. The file is sixteen pages long and offers the same information that is available on this website including the application forms. Those with other visa types should contact an international admissions specialist at (517) 483-1200 for information on how to apply.

Who is an International Student?

Any individual who has been admitted to the United States in a temporary, non-resident (visa) status will be classified as an international student at Lansing Community College. Individuals admitted to the United States on any type of visa should use the international application.

Individuals who have refugee, immigrant, or resident alien (green card) status are not international students and should use the LCC domestic student application.
