NOTES:
1. See the University of Detroit Mercy's Core Curriculum Requirements guide for
transferable Lansing Community College courses. Depending on the specific
degree chosen, general education requirements can vary. A maximum of 63
semester hours of credit will transfer toward a Bachelor degree at UDM.
Because this guide offers more then the maximum number of transfer credits,
students are strongly encouraged to work with a UDM advisor when making
course selections.
2. The Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology prepares students for admission into
various medical and dental programs. Other exciting career opportunities with
this degree include: criminal justice, industrial research, medical forensics,
and teaching.
3. UDM College of Engineering and Science entrance requirements: minimum of 2.5
GPA based on at least 24 semester hours of credit. If less than 24 credits
have been taken, high school transcripts are required.
4. Student may substitute with MATH 126 for MATH 122.
5. Choose any combination for a total of 2 courses from Objective V-A,B,C of
the UDM Core Curriculum (see Note 1) and 1 course from V-D
6. MATH 151 and 152 are strongly recommended for Biology majors. BIOL 270 is
a recommended Biology elective.
7. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the

8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
