Final Grade Dispute

Purpose:

This process allows a student to dispute a final course grade in situations where the student challenges the fairness of the grade.

Introduction

The responsibility for academic evaluation and the assignment of grades is that of the faculty member who has been assigned responsibility for a course. When any student believes that he/she has not been evaluated as prescribed in the course syllabus, an avenue of dispute is provided. A "dispute" is defined as a disagreement between two parties. The process to initiate a Final Grade Dispute is outlined below. The student is responsible to initiate the Final Grade Dispute process.
