Veterinary Technology, Associate in Applied Science
This curriculum is conducted in association with the MSU Veterinary Technology program. The State of Michigan requires that any person employed as a veterinary technician must be licensed and registered with the state. The credentialing examination is only available to qualified graduates of accredited educational programs.
Licensed Veterinary Technicians are compassionate, positive and highly motivated professionals dedicated to animal health care. The Vet Tech is entrusted with such diverse medical responsibilities as:

This program is unique in that it is only one of two veterinary technician training programs in the nation that is directly associated with a college of veterinary medicine and a veterinary teaching hospital Veterinary technology students are exposed to the cutting edge of technology, medical practices and patient care.
