Future & Current Students – Brandon Briegel
There were a lot of reasons that I chose LCC. My sister went there and she
recommended it. She really liked her program and business courses, the
individual attention from faculty, and the small classes.
But my high school teachers also recommended LCC, and told me this college would
prepare me for the future in whatever field I’d choose. Some students leave
after a couple of years and go right into the workforce; others go on to a
four-year university. Either way, they leave LCC prepared for their next steps.
This 2+2+2 program is really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, a full-ride
scholarship.
Math and Science have always
been a big part of school for me, just something I’ve always enjoyed and have
been good at, that just came naturally. My two years at LCC will be all my
general classes, the math and science that I need, and I’ll be ready to transfer
then for the next two years at MSU where I’ll pursue a specific degree. So this
engineering degree scholarship has provided me a chance to really explore my
skills in math and science and dig deeper into these subjects that I like. And
it’s a huge head start on my future and a career doing something I’m really
interested in.
