LCC Men's Basketball Players, Coach Recieve Post-Season Honors

LANSING, MICH. - Two days following the LCC Stars District 9 Championship, the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) announced its awards with the Stars racking up numerous individual honors, the most by any institution.

Five players from LCC and Coach Mike Ingram received awards. The list of accolades follow:

  • Javon Haines – MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Year, MCCAA Western Conference 1st Team, NJCAA Region XII 1st Team, All MCCAA Team, MCCAA Western Conference All Defensive Team, NJCAA District 9 Most Valuable Player.
  • Isaiah Green – MCCAA Western Conference 1st Team, NJCAA Region XII 1st Team, All MCCAA Team, MCCAA Western Conference All Freshman Team, MCCAA Western Conference All Defensive Team, MCCAA Western Conference Defensive Player of the Year, NJCAA District 9 All-Tournament Team.
  • Jimmy Kodet - MCCAA Western Conference 1st Team, NJCAA Region XII 1st Team, All MCCAA Team
  • Brian Morton – MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention
  • Curtis Davison - MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention
  • Coach Mike Ingram – MCCAA Western Conference Coach of the Year (19th time), NJCAA District 9 Coach of the Year, second consecutive year.
