Mathematics Program
MCS offers a variety of classes in Transfer Mathematics. These include:
MATH 120 (College Algebra)
MATH 121 (Precalculus I)
MATH 122 (Precalculus II)
MATH 126 (Precalculus)
MATH 151 (Calculus I)
MATH 152 (Calculus II)
MATH 161 (Honors Calculus I)
MATH 162 (Honors Calculus II)
MATH 253 (Calculus III)
MATH 254 (Differential Equations)
MATH 260 (Linear Algebra)
MATH 201 (Math for Elementary Teachers I)
MATH 202 (Math for Elementary Teachers II)
MATH 130 (Finite Math with College Algebra)
MATH 141 (Calculus with Applications)
Students headed into the calculus sequence (MATH 151, 152, etc.) should take MATH 121/122. If you do not need to take MATH 151 for your degree program, then you may wish to take MATH 120 (College Algebra) as an alternate to pre-calculus. MATH 050, 107, and 112 are offered by the Math Skills Department.

The following courses satisfy the LCC Math Core requirements for two-year degrees: MATH 112, 115, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 130, 141, 151, 161, 152, 162, 201, 202, 253, 254 and 260.
