College enrollment made easy.

Walk in to apply, attend orientation, plan your pathway with an advisor and complete other requirements to start at LCC all in one day. Customer service representatives and advisors personally guide attendees to get new and current students ready to register for classes.

How it works:

When you arrive, check in at the StarZone Welcome Desk, located on the 2nd floor of the Gannon Building. Reserve your spot for orientation and advising sessions, or indicate your specific needs. If you've already attended orientation, the StarZone customer service representatives will help you register for classes.

Schedule of Events:

Student Orientations

Orientations are held on each Open Enrollment Day. All newly admitted students are required to attend orientation prior to registering for classes. Meet in the Gannon Building, room 244 to attend the sessions listed below.

Session 1:
9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Gannon Building, room 244

Session 2:
2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Gannon Building, room 244

Advising

Check in at the Advising Desk to make your walk-in appointment with an advisor. These are 10 – 15 minute appointments for you to discuss one semester plans, questions on prerequisites, graduation information and other general questions.

Apply for Admission

If you've never attended LCC before or need to re-apply, check in at the StarZone Welcome Desk to receive face-to-face assistance with the application and admission process.

Register for Classes

After you've applied for admission, attended orientation and met with an advisor, check in at the StarZone Welcome Desk for face-to-face assistance with registration.

Take your placement tests

Many LCC courses require prerequisite levels in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Your levels can be established through placement testing, previous college course work, and ACT or SAT results. You may take your placement tests in the StarZone, located on the 2nd floor of the Gannon Building, at the Placement Testing Center. Check current testing hours.
