Learning Online at LCC

Every semester, the eLearning Department offers Learning Online at LCC, an online training course, to offer students a chance to learn more about using LCC's Course Management System (CMS), D2L as well as learn more about the expectations that come with being a student in an online or hybrid course. This training takes students through how to use each of the tools in D2L, such as discussion boards, dropboxes, etc. as well as provides additional information on time management, using technology at LCC, identifying learning styles, and LCC college resources.

  • Learning Online at LCC Training: Available to all students enrolled in courses for the entire semester. The training is located in D2L on the My Home page, in the My Courses widget. Select Training from the drop-down menu to view the course link. This online, self-paced training allows the flexibility to walk away at any time and return later to finish.
  • Schedule An Appointment: If you would like assistance in learning to use D2L, you can schedule an appointment to come in to the eLearning Department office and work with an eLearning staff member to learn to use the tools you need within D2L.
