Angie was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Angie began
studying education at Grand Rapids community College then transferred to
Aquinas College to complete her education to become a high school art
teacher. Mrs. Leslie then taught two years at Laker High School, a small
school located in Michigan's thumb. She then taught one year at Lakeview
High School.
Angie completed her master's degree in Adult and Higher Education from
Grand Valley State University in August of 2008. She is currently
working with adult students to assist them with their return to higher
education.
