Computer Programmer/Analyst
Certificate of Completion

Curriculum Code: 0969  (Effective Fall 2001 - Summer 2006)
This certificate provides students with the entry-level skills to perform as a
computer programmer of business applications in one language.  It is designed for
students who already have basic computer skills.  This course work will apply
toward completion of the Computer Programmer/Analyst Associate in Business
Students should see the "Course Descriptions" section of this catalog or the
Course Schedule for course prerequisite information.  Basic skills assessment and
advising information may be found on page 8 of this catalog.

1.    Prerequisites may be waived based on experience.  See a CIS program
      advisor prior to registration for more information.
2.    Students may substitute CISB 283 - Intro to JAVA Programming for this
3.    Students must complete each CISB course with a minimum grade of 2.0 to
      receive this certificate of completion.
4.    This curriculum, using Subchoice 2D, may be completed through the Virtual
      College via the Internet.

Students should see course descriptions to find out when departments plan to
offer courses.  Students who for any reason are unable to follow the course
sequence suggested below (for example, those who are part-time, have transferred
in courses from another school, or have prerequisites to fulfill) should contact
an academic advisor or counselor for help with adjustments.
