Records Management
Associate in Business Degree

Curriculum Code: 0195  (Effective Fall 1999 - Summer 2004)

Records and information management specialists account for and control all of
an organization's information records.  They record, store, and retrieve
information and data such as correspondence, invoices, receipts, and other
database files using various manual and computerized data storage, retrieval,
and filing systems.  Graduates of this program are prepared to work in both
government and business sectors.

General education is an important part of this program and includes a
mathematics competency requirement.  To fulfill the mathematics competency
requirement, students may need to complete specific coursework in mathematics.
