Off-Campus Placement Testing Options

There are two alternatives to testing at an LCC campus:

  1. You may use a virtual remote proctoring service (i.e. test at home), or
  2. Arrange to test with a proctor at another college or testing center.

Virtual Remote Proctoring

This service allows you to test using your personal computer, with scheduling available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The basic requirements are:

  • A computer with a web cam, audio, and a high-speed internet connection
  • A government issued ID with a picture (e.g. driver's license, state/college ID)
  • A quiet location without disruptions
  • A credit card to pay the $25 fee.

Testing with an outside proctor (Non-LCC site)

An acceptable proctor must be located and contacted to confirm that the service is available prior to filling out the form below.  Be aware that most testing centers typically charge a fee to proctor our placement tests.

The Online Testing Support Office will not process your request, unless the form is complete.

 The Online Testing Support Office requires seven to ten businesses days to process a request. You will receive an email notification once your request is processed.
