Senior Vice President: Dr. Stanley Chase
Dr. Stanley Chase is the Senior Vice President for Advancement and External Affairs at Michigan’s 3rd largest community college, Lansing Community College (LCC).
Dr. Chase joined LCC in 1997. During his tenure at Lansing Community College Dr. Chase has held many position such as; Director of Education Initiatives, Director of Student Services-West; Assistant Dean; Director of Student Judicial Affairs etc. Prior to his employment with LCC, DR. Chase was a faculty member at Grand Valley State University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and performed independent consulting through his business, Chase Consulting Corporation. Other positions held by Dr. Chase include: K-12 superintendent (10 years), elementary principal and elementary teacher.
Dr Chase earned his Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Bowie State University located in Maryland. He received a Masters of Arts in Educational Administration from Michigan State University. He also received his Ph.D. in Educational Administration at Michigan State University in 2004.
Dr Chase has received many honors and awards including being named to Who’s Who in Black America on two occasions. He is an accomplished presenter; having presented at American Association of Community Colleges, League for Innovation, AACRAO, NISOD, and Michigan Community College Student Services Association.
